2/16/15 - Schofield is a long-legged 5-foot-11 175-pound left-handed hitting 2B/MIF and RHP.  On the mound, high-three-quarters slot, loose arm action, easy effort, repeats release, smooth rhythm, throws slightly across body, tall and fall type delivery, 81-82 mph fastball, with late run, has command of curveball, 11-to-5 shape, late action, 65-67 mph, one of the best curveballs at the event, aggressive with change-up, arm side sink, 71-72 mph, wide-shouldered frame, projects well.   At the plate, open stance, small stride, smooth load, short path to ball, hit mostly pull side during batting practice, level swing path, 81 mph exit velo, 4.13 home-to-first.  During infield evaluations, high three-quarters release, plays thru ball, loose arm action, 78 mph across diamond, accurate throws. In the outfield, 82 mph positional velo, fluid hand-to-glove exchange, over-the-top release, loose arm action.
