A freshman to note from this event was INF/RHP Anthony Rodrigue (De Smet Jesuit, 2029). Physically advanced at 6-foot-1, 180 pounds, Rodrigue turned in a strong two-way showing, pairing an 86.2 mph exit velocity at the plate with a four-pitch mix on the mound. His fastball topped out at 81.5 mph, while he showed command over three offspeed pitches: a 64–66 mph curveball, 66–68 mph slider, and 70–72 mph changeup.
