Young went 7-3 record with a 1.04 ERA, 63 strikeouts and 12 walks in 47 1/3 innings. At the plate, he batted .383 in 81 at-bats with seven doubles, four triples, two home runs, 27 RBIs and a .463 on-base percentage. Young was also named 1st team All State by the MSHBCA.
