2/21/16 - Morehouse is a 5-foot-11 195-pound right-handed hitting catcher and pitcher in Missouri’s 2017 class from Park Hill HS.  He ran a 4.62 home to first and has an exit velo of 90 mph, one of the top RHH exit velos of the event. At the plate, slightly open stance, in-line stride, has a gap-to-gap approach, hands walk away from stride, manages the barrel with hands.  Behind the plate, mostly accurate throws, over the top release, clean exchange and throw, pop times between 2.15 and 2.34-seconds, 76 mph positional velo. On the mound showed a simple delivery with limited moving parts, clean arm-action, three-quarters arm slot, short stride, repeats body movements. Fastball 78-82 mph, works bottom of the strike zone. Breaking ball with 11/5 to 12/6 shape, controllable pitch, 72-74 mph. Change-up 70-73 mph.

6/16/15 - Morehouse is a 5-foot-11 185-pound right-handed hitting catcher in the 2017 class from Park Hill HS.  Morehouse runs a 7.75 60 and has a 77 mph exit velo.  Offensively, starts in balanced set up, separates to load, stays in line with stride, level bath to extension, gap-to-gap approach.  Defensively, has pop times between 2.15 and 2.24, 76 mph positional velo, quick exchange, fluid footwork, mostly accurate throws to the fist base side, over-the-top release. Morehouse has an over-the-top release, with a simple/repeatable delivery. He throws with smooth rhythm and regular effort as a pitcher.  His fastball was 76-80 mph, with high percentage of strikes.  Breaking pitch has 11-to-5 movement, and he showed a cutter with sink at 72-74 mph.

6/4/14 - Morehouse is a 5-foot-10, 190-pound RHP with an over the top delivery. He displayed good down angle with loose arm action and easy effort. His fastball ranged from 78-81 MPH. Morehouse threw acurveball that was near fastball arm speed and ranged from 65-69 MPH. He also throws a changeup at 78-79 MPH. 

6/4/14 - Morehouse is a 5-foot-10, 190-pound catcher. He showed a POP time ranging from 2.19-2.41. He displayed good feet and stayed in line with his throws. At the plate, Morehouse has a balanced setup with a smooth load. He showed a long stride with good pop. There is some power potential with an exit velo of 81 MPH.
