6/9/15 - Lauvetz is a 6-foot-2 215-pound right-handed hitting catcher.  He recorded pop-times between 2.03 and 2.19, quick catch and exchange, with accurate throws with top velo of 75 mph.  Lauvetz ran a 7.23 60, and has an 86 mph exit velo.  At the plate, he had a gap-to-gap approach during batting practice, uses a toe tap to load, flat bat path to extension.

2/16/15 - Lauvetz is a physical, athletic 6-foot-2, 210-pound catcher from Rockhurst HS in Kansas City, MO.  Class of 2016. Right-hand hitter, tall set-up, narrow stance, smooth load, reverse toe tap pre-stride, strides inline. Short bat path, some bat speed. Line drive middle to slight pull approach. Extension through the baseball, maintains balance throughout. Recorded an 84 mph exit velocity, ran a 4.49 home-to-first. Quick footwork behind the plate, short high three-quarters arm action, 1.89 top pop time, 78 mph throwing velocity, throws had carry, mostly accurate throws.

6/17/14 – Lauvetz is a physical 6-foot-2 190-pound catcher.  Defensive, he showed soft hands with a quick, clean exchange, posting pop times between 1.96 and 2.05.  During batting practice, Lauvetz, starts from an athletic stance and produces a level swing with gap-to-gap approach.  He has an exit velo of 81 MPH and ran a 4.5 home-to-first and a 7.66 60.

2/21/14 – Lauvetz is a solid 6-foot-2, 150-pound catcher.  During the defensive evals, Laubetz showed moves well behind the plate and has a quick glove-hand-exchange.  He had pop-times ranging from 2.10 to 2.17 with a positional velo of 75 MPH and mostly accurate throws.  At the plate, Lauvetz has a gap-to-gap approach with a level swing path.  He starts in a balanced stance and uses a bit of a leg kick to generate power.  He recorded an 80 MPH exit velo and ran 4.34 home-to-first.
