2/21/15 - Kaufman is a 5-foot-10 160-pound RHP/2B.  Kaufman has an athletic stance, smooth load, and small stride.  Short path to contact, produces consistent line drives to middle of cage during BP, 78 mph exit velo, 4.75 home-to-first.   On the infield, 76 mph positional velo, attacks ball, quick feet, fluid exchange, plays through ball, accurate throws. On the mound, Kaufman has a slender frame with loose arm action.  Throws from a high-three quarters arm slot with regular effort.  He showed the ability to throw strikes with three pitches, with body control during delivery.  Fastball at 77-79 mph, slight run, throws 11-to-5 curveball at 64-66 mph, slider at 67-68 mph, both breaking pitches have late action, slider is thrown for a strike. 

2/21/14 – Kaufman is a 5-foot-10, 130-pound 2B/MIF. Defensively, Kaufman has a quick feet and a quick high ¾ release.  He had a high velo of 76 MPH across the infield making somewhat accurate throws.  At the plate, Kaufman has a gap-to-gap approach with a level bath path.  His swing produces a 73 MPH exit velo and he runs a 4.75 home-to-first.

2/21/14 – Kaufman is a thin 5-foot-10, 130-pound right-handed pitcher with a simple and repeatable delivery.  He has a quick arm and throws with easy effort.  Kaufman’s fastball had some run was clocked between 75-77 MPH.  He has an 11/5 curveball with late break at 65-66 MPH and a change-up at 68-70 MPH with good sink.  He also flashed a slider at 65-63 MPH.
