Body: 5-9, 145-pounds. Lean and developing build with room for added strength and size in the future.
Hit: RHH. Starts with a slightly open stance with an athletic posture and hands getting set well below shoulder height. Slow loads the weight into the back leg. Short two-tap stride working into a wider base. Hands work low around the chest but maintains a level bat path and line drive approach. Does a good job of working the lower half underneath the ball to help with matching plane. Shows quick hands through the zone and strong rotational acceleration. Maintains balance well throughout the swing.
Power: 79.6 max exit velocity, averaged 76.2 mph. 248’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 78 mph. OF - 84 mph. High 3/4 arm slot with a shorter arm action.
Defense: In the outfield attacks the ball with aggressive rhythm and footwork. Fields the ball out in front of the glove side leg with some glove action. Quick shuffle crow hop technique with good momentum headed towards the target. In the infield attacks the ball with shorter strides and controlled rhythm. Fields the ball slightly deep into the body with a firm glove. Uses a quick glove tap release and shows good technique on the slow roller.
Run: 7.03 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Short and methodical footwork around the rubber working to an easy pivot foot. Slow rhythm and pace to the delivery. Works to a high balance point with a good weight stack onto the back leg. Works from the middle of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the slope with good momentum headed towards the plate. Short sink into the lower half with good push off the rubber. Maintains balance well throughout the delivery.
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 arm slot with a clean arm action.
