6/7/16 - Freeman is a 6-foot-2 175-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and shortstop from Winnetonka HS in the Kansas City area.  He ran a 7.06 60 and a 4.53 home-to-first.  He has an 84 mph exit velo. At the plate, made solid contact during batting practice, middle to pull approach, athletic stance, leg lift to stride, singled to left and had a line drive single to center in game action. In the outfield, 81 mph positional velo, over the top release, efficient route to ball, plays through the catch, mostly accurate throws. On the infield, 75 mph positional velo, over the top release, will drop arm slot, mostly accurate throws, made all plays cleanly during infield evaluations, clean transfer and release.

10/31/15 - Freeman is a 6-foot-1 155-pound right-handed hitting shortstop and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2017 class.  Freeman ran a 7.41 60 and had an exit velo of 81 mph.  At the plate, leg lift with short stride to start swing, quick bat speed, gap-to-gap approach, balanced finish.  On the infield, over-the-top release, long arm circle, fluid footwork, quick hand-to-glove transfer, 76 mph positional velo, made all plays cleanly. Freeman has an over-the-top release with controlled body during delivery, throws with regular effort, in line stride, fastball at 75-79, touching 80 mph, curveball at 61-65 mph 12-to-6 action, down in zone, change-up at near fastball arm speed 65-67 mph.
