vs Missouri: Touching 93 mph with his fastball and showing a plus to better slider, Kansas State transfer Elijah Dale was the top pitching prospect for Illinois State. He repeated a swing/miss slider that spun into the 2800s rpm and showed late turbo sink on his low-90s heater that played up due to its life and the nastiness and repeatability of his breaking ball. At 5-foot-11, 175 pounds, the athletic right-hander doesn’t have much projection, but his current stuff is plenty to receive Day Two draft consideration.
