11/4/17 - Jakubec is a long legged 5-foot-11 160-pound right-handed hitting shortstop in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 7.57 60 and a 4.52 home to first.  He has an 81 mph exit velocity. At the plate, balanced stance, minimal load with no wasted movement, in line stride, loose hands with high finish, gap to gap approach.  On the infield, 78 mph positional velocity, throws with a three quarters arm slot, mostly accurate throws, fluid footwork to the ball working through the catch, clean transfer.

2/17/17 - Jakubec is a 5-foot-7 155-pound right-handed hitting shortstop and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 4.53 home to first and has a 75 mph exit velo. At the plate, balanced set up, smooth load, controlled front leg lift, level path through the zone, gap to gap approach.  On the infield, 69 mph positional velo, high three quarters release, quick exchange, aggressive to the ball with feet, gains ground after catch, somewhat accurate throws across the infield. On the mound, Jakubec’s delivery has a smooth tempo, high three quarters release, throws with some effort at release, stays in line down the mound, fastball at 71-72 mph, 12-to-6 shape, straight change-up at 65-67 mph.
