Smith has a lanky 6-foot-1, 170-pound frame. Offensively, he showed quick hands with a long, level line drive swing, creating some barrel whip through the zone. When he extended through contact, he was much more consistent driving the ball. In the outfield, Smith showed good range while getting to the ball quickly with soft hands. Smith is coming off of arm surgery a few months ago and did not throw, but should be ready for the high school season.
