Helsel touched 84 mph twice during pitching evals, working from an over the top release, controlled leg lift, in line stride, arm works, strong and athletic frame, showed feel for a breaking ball with 11-to-5 break, tight spring, late action, sharp break, overall good pitch that looks like a true slider, command of a change up 71-72 mph, late sink. He ran a 4.28 home to first and has an exit velocity of 83 mph. At the plate, slightly open with reverse to tap to stride, minimal hand movement, level path through the zone, quick bat speed, gap-to-gap approach.  In the outfield, over the top release, fluid exchange on time with feet, plays through the ball, momentum through the catch.
