Athletic, projectable 6-foot-2, 175-pound frame. The right-handed hitter sets up in a wide, crouched stance and initiates his swing with a quick leg lift and short stride. Raw mechanically with lower half, showing upper body strength. Uphill bat path with lift to mid/pull side. Showcases some bat speed with an 85 mph bat-exit velocity. In the outfield, shows deliberate footwork and adequate hands to field. Has above average arm strength, making 90 mph throws from a quick ¾ arm slot with carry and accuracy.
On the mound, the projectable right-handed pitcher works from a repeatable rocker-step delivery reaching an athletic balance point. Lands square to home with good direction, occasionally falling off to his glove side. Has a quick, loose ¾ arm action that fills the zone with strikes. Fastball sat 83-87 mph keeps its plane for strikes. Slider has a small 11/5 shape, 72 mph. Changeup thrown firm with some fade at 78-79 mph. Should add velocity with added strength and maturity.
