Offensively, athletic setup, short stride, lower half works, maintains good balance. Loose, quick hands, power approach, gap-to-gap at-times, 97 mph exit velocity.

1/31/16 - Paulus is a 6-foot 155-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 7.82 60 and has an exit velo of 82 mph. At the plate, athletic set up, short smooth load, short stride, aggressive swing, quick and loose hands, pull power, solid consistent contact, advanced swing.  Behind the plate, 2.20 to 2.34 pop times, 74 mph positional velo, quick catch and throw, feet and hands work together, player to follow in 2019 class.
