6/16/15 - Duley is a strong 6-foot 180-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in the 2017 class from Joplin. Duley ran a 7.16 and had an exit velo of 85 mph. During batting practice, Duley consistently squared up the ball to both gaps. He has little wasted movement during load, uses a short stride and stays through contact with extension. In the outfield, Duley has a positional velo of 83 mph from an over the top release, he has quick feet and quick exchange, making mostly accurate throws. Duley shows signs of velo increase on the mound, touching 83 mph, sitting 78-80 mph during his outing. He is a strike thrower with both fastball and curveball. Curveball was 12-to-6 at 62-66 mph, late action. He has an over-the-top release with smooth rhythm during his delivery. He works the bottom of the zone with both pitches, getting many ground balls. Quick and efficient tempo between pitches.
