The athletic 6-foot-2, 185-pound Klug showed to be one of the top fielders, and set his self apart from all participants by showing off his speed, recording an event best 6.86 in the 60. In the field, Klug demonstrated a good approach to the ball with above average range, arm (81 mph), and glove. Klug showed to be as sure handed as they come at shortstop. At the plate, Klug has a short and compact swing that allowed him to spray the ball to all fields. Klug is also a standout wide receiver for the SLUH football team.
