At the plate, starts slightly closed, short stride, simple and repeatable load with no wasted movements, level path, gap to gap approach.  On the infield, 73 mph positional velocity, attacks ball, reverse pivot to second base, over the top arm slot, fluid exchange, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Strong has a short high three quarters, throws with some effort, aggressive working in line down the mound, short leg lift to hop, hand remain low throughout the delivery, fastball at 79-82 mph, hides ball well, breaking ball at 67-69 mph, gradual 11-to-5 shape, 74-76 mph change up, some with sinking action, consistently squared up catcher with all three pitches.
