Simon is a plus runner with a 6.75 60 and a 4.16 home-to-first. His exit velo was 83 mph. During batting practice, Simon starts with an open stance, good balance and high hands finish high. Defensively in the outfield, he moves well, high ¾ arm slot, clean arm action, positional velo of 79 mph and accurate throws. On the mound, Simon uses a strong lower half, directional towards home plate, ¾ arm slot, easy arm action, fastball is 76-79, arm side run, high percentage of strikes, changeup runs to his arm side at 65-67 mph and curveball has slurve type spin, 2-to-8 shape, 63-65 mph.
