2/10/18 - McPherson is a long limbed 6-foot 155-pound right-handed hitting second baseman and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2020 class.  He ran a 7.91 60 and has an 84 mph exit velocity. At the plate, thin and tall set up, some hand load as he strides, long in line stride with top tap, level path trough the zone, showed power to the pull side.  On the infield, 70 mph positional velocity, three quarters arm slot, short arm circle, smooth footwork to the ball, quick glove to hand exchange, smooth actions, accurate throws. On the mound, McPherson has a three quarters arm slot, throws with regular effort, works from the 3B side of the rubber, works in line down the mound, simple and repeatable delivery with smooth tempo, fastball at 77-80 mph, some with two-seam action, curveball has 11-to-5 shape, 62-66 mph, gradual breek, change up at 67-70 mph, flashed arm side sink, near fastball arm speed.
