2/20/17 - West is a 6-foot-1 185-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He ran a 4.58 home to first and has an exit velocity of 91 mph. At the plate, starts lightly open, short stride, minimal hand movement in load, swing produce middle to pull side line drives during hitting evaluations, flashed pull side power.  In the outfield, over the top release, aggressive through the ball, crow hop, clean transfer, strong build, 78 mph positional velo.

6/16/15 - West is a 6-foot 170-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in the 2018 class.  West runs a 7.27 60 and has an exit velo of 69 mph.  At the plate, West has an athletic setup with a smooth load. Swing produces gap-to-gap line drives. Exit velo at 81 mph  In the outfield, West has 73 mph positional velo, small crow hop, over-the-top release, fluid exchange, mostly accurate throws. Behind the plate, Over-the-top arm slot, strong arm, fluid footwork, quick/clean exchange, pop time between 2.19 and 2.30, position velo at 72 mph from catcher. West worked both sides of the plate with his fastball at 71-76 mph.  Breaking pitch has 12-to-6 shape, 54-56 mph, change-up at 65-67 mph.  West has an over-the-top release, and simple/repeatable delivery.  He throws with regular effort and smooth rhythm.
