8/12/16 - 6-foot-4, 190-pound, lanky, right-handed pitcher. Ranked No. 20 overall in the 2017 Missouri class. Struck out five batters in his two innings of work. On the mound, tall/fall delivery, uptempo delivery. Long, loose arm action from a high ¾ angle. Fastball, arm side run, late action, sat 82-85 mph, touched 88. Curveball, 11/5 shape, 68-70 mph. Changeup, maintains arm speed, sink action, thrown for strikes, 68-70 mph. Splitter, 74-76 mph. Showed well in gameplay striking out five over two innings of work.

2/14/16 - Baker is a 6-foot-3, 200-pound right-handed pitcher in the Missouri class of 2017 that attends Saint Louis University HS. Up-tempo, aggressive delivery, three-quarters slot, fast arm, some effort. Fastball with late life, running/cutting, nothing straight, 87-89 mph, topped out at 90 mph – top mark at the event. Breaking ball with 11/5 shape, sharp at times, 70-71 mph. Showed a 77-81 split-fingered fastball below the strike zone. Physical class of 2017 right-hander with present college-level stuff.

6/17/15 - Baker is a 6-foot-3 210-pound right-handed pitcher in the 2017 class.  Baker he has a high leg kick and accelerates down the mound, conventional over-the-top arm slot, throws with some effort, stays in line down the mound, throws downhill, fastball at 83 -85 mph, 86 tops, one of the top velos for the event.  Curveball has 12-to-6 shape, 64-66 mph, change-up at 71-74 mph, sink, near fastball arm speed.

2/15/16 - Baker is a 6-foot-3 210-pound 3B/RHP that attends St. Louis University High, at the plate, open stance, uses small leg kick, lands square, smooth rhythm, works in opposite gap, 90 mph exit velo, at first base, clean exchange, and fluid footwork, high three-quarters release, 79 mph velo. Strong/wide-shouldered frame, three-quarters arm slot on the mound, long arm swing, stays in line down mound, throws with some effort, athletic finish, touched 85 with fastball, sat mostly 80-83, curveball at 62-65 mph, 11-to-5 plane, change-up at 69-71 mph.

1/20/14 – Baker is a strong, athletic 6-foot-2 190-pound right hand hitting 3B.  He has a clean, fluid exchange making mostly accurate throws across the diamond.  Baker throws with an over-the-top arm action and has a positional velo of 78 MPH.  At the plate, he has a line drive, gap-to-gap approach.  Baker has an athletic, balanced stance with a short stride. He had an exit velo of 81 MPH and runs an 8.05 60.

1/20/14 – Baker is a 6-foot-3 190-pound right handed pitcher. Weston has good balance and rhythm getting down the mound.  He throws with an over-the-top arm action that is consistently down in the zone.  His fastball has slight run at 75-80 MPH.  He has a 12/6 curveball with late break at 60-62 MPH.  His change-up is thrown with near fastball arm speed at 62-64 MPH with late run.  He will continue to add velocity and could be a power arm in the 2017 class as he develops.
