Looking through his progression since last seeing him at the GBA Scout Day in February, Simily has continued to improve. He stands in a strong frame at 6-foot, 188-pounds with present strength throughout. He works out of a stretch-only delivery, and showed an easy, clean arm action with minimal effort to produce as fastball that sat 86--88 mph, topping out at 89.4 mph with clear carry through the zone and quality spin (avg. 2428 rpm). He also spun both a curveball and slider; his curveball plays with sharp 11/5 shape, with an average of 2476 rpm, and a slider with sweeping action and high spin (avg. 2730 rpm). Rounding out his four-pitch mix, Simily threw a change-up with fastball intent, sitting 79-82 mph. An arm-to-know in Missouri.
