Middle/pull contact with some loft. Posted a 77 mph exit velocity off a tee. Behind the plate threw to 2nd in the 2.06-2.18, consistently around the bag. Square low set up behind the plate, quite pre-pitch movements, sound blocker and receiver, strong lateral movements.
5- foot-6, 147 pound catcher/infielder ran a 4.31 home to first. During round of BP work the middle of the field, line drive contact what's consistent with the barrel, flat swing plane, stays on the ball well, shows good hands. Posted an 83 MPH exit velocity off of the tea. Indian field, glove gets to the ball late, average hands, topped out at 79 MPH across the infield with accuracy.
