5-foot-10, 175-pound shortstop. 4.12 home to first time. Arm works well in field. Good body control and has accuracy on throws. Tends to funnel baseball while fielding. Simple adjustments and reps will improve glove which is already solid. Is versatile and can also play in the outfield. 81 mph arm strength from shortstop; 82 mph arm strength from outfield. Uphill swing plane to contact. Will loop to ball. More direct line-drive swing plane would suit tools and body more appropriately. Shows good hand-eye coordination and has ability to make hard contact. Overall has good tool set and will continue to improve in college with refinement of present good ability.
5-foot-10, 170-pound shortstop. 7.31 60 time. Slight inverted C load with hitchy rhythm. Shows good hands at the plate with line drive swing plane. Ball jumps at contact. Ok bat speed. Minimal use of lower half in swing. 88 mph exit velocity. Plays with energy in the middle infield. Sure hands and plays through the ball well. Has body control and arm works from high ¾ slot with arm speed. 81 mph across infield. Also showed ability to turn double play from both sides of the bag. Interesting prospect with additional maturity and physical development.
