5-foot-10, 175-pound 2-way player. Projectable body with present strength. Moves well in outfield. Fields with confidence and shows loose actions and athleticism. Loses velocity on throws due to shoulder tilt in front. Arms works but front side mechanics limit extension and finish on throws. Starts open at plate. Knee to knee trigger to swing. High back elbow and uphill swing plane. Has whippy bat speed and ball sounds different coming off bat. 83 mph exit velocity off tee. Fastball showed good plane and life from short over-the-top slot. Fastball ranged 76-79 mph. Curveball is hard with late break at 67-71 mph. Changeup showed flashes of being plus pitch with good action. Overall impressive life on 3 pitches for strikes. High Follow for 2017 class in Nebraska. Will continue to get better.
