PBR Scouting Report: 6-foot, 190-pound 2-way. Projectable body with present strength. Moves well in outfield. Fields with confidence and shows loose actions and athleticism. Loses velocity on throws due to shoulder tilt in front. Arms works but front side mechanics limit extension and finish on throws. Starts open at plate. Knee to knee trigger to swing. High back elbow and uphill swing plane. Has whippy bat speed and ball sounds different coming off bat. 83 mph exit velocity off tee. 

PBR: What schools have expressed interest in you?
Peterson:  I had offers from Kansas, Kansas State, and Missouri State. Now I currently have two offers from Iowa Western Community College, and Hutchinson Community College.

PBR: Is there a favorite at this point in the process?

Peterson: Not 100% for sure where I would like to go yet between the two schools.

PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?

Peterson: I have visited both schools.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)

Peterson: Good academic school, good baseball, and coaches that are willing to work to make me better. 

PBR: What were some of your highlights during your junior year?

Peterson: 1st team All State, 2nd team Super state, perfect game honorable mention, and an invitation to Area Code tryout

PBR: What are your goals for this year? 

Peterson: Consistently hit balls with power and good contact. 

PBR: What is your ACT and GPA?

Peterson: 21 and 3.4
