8/13/17- 6-foot, 173 pound catcher ran a 6.71 60 yard sprint. Athletic frame with present strength. Tall open stance, toe tap trigger, quick line drive swing. During round of BP worked middle/away with ground ball contact. Behind the plate, threw to 2nd in the 2.16-2.4 range. OK receiver, sound blocker with side to side athleticism.
5/22/16- 6-foot, 160-pound right-handed hitting catcher that ran a 7.06 60 yard sprint. Athletic build and runs well for his position. Open stance at the plate, stride trigger gets him squared up. Hands stay inside the ball for decent contact to all fields. Posted an exit velocity of 74 mph off a tee. Wide base behind the plate, high target, jabs at pitches, weak glove. Fundamentally sound blocking. Good transfer to throw; posting pop times in the 2.19-2.25 range with a top velocity of 67 mph.
2/13/16- 5-foot-10, 160-pound catcher ran a 4.88 40-yard sprint. Good set up behind the plate with large target to throw to. Lot of extra movement receiving. Has quick feet and has a chance to become good blocker. Footwork and glove to hand exchange is clean. Pop times ranged 2.19-2.25. Quick front leg kick triggers short compact swing. Line drive swing plane with long finish. 68 mph exit velocity off a tee.
