11/4/18- 6-foot, 183 pound catcher ran a 4.03 home to first. Lean athletic build with long levers. Balance square stance at the the plate, leg kick trigger, easy load, low ½ explodes through the baseball. Mostly worked to the middle of the field with line drive contact. Flashed the ability to square up the baseball consistently. Posted an 90 mph exit velocity off a tee. Behind the plate topped out at 80 mph to second base, threw to 2nd in the 2.07-2.21 range. Showed a strong ability to receive pitches during bullpens sessions, sound blocker, strong wrists. Strong catching prospect for the 2020 class in Nebraska.
