Geoff Mosseau, LHP, Bedford HS (NH), 2018 - Big lefty, ¾ slot, 81-83 mph in the first inning. Struggled with his command early in the game and gave up some runs to Dulins but sharpened up a bit as the game went on. Had trouble controlling his arm-side run mostly, but was able to get feel for it after the first inning. 67-68 breaking ball, kind of a slurvy sweeper type, dropped it in the zone for strikes. Worked below the zone with his 72-73 change-up for some swings and misses vs RHH. His video is kinda of shaky, not sure what I was doing. Also, he had #5 on but there was no #5 on the roster so I asked a parent who it was and they told me it was Mosseau - might check out his video and make sure we’ve got the right guy. Overall I’m assuming I saw him a little off, definitely a prospect-looking guy, I’m sure the major colleges are waiting for an uptick in the velocity.
Big, long and left-handed. The arm works well and the ball jumps out of his hand. Shows the ability to throw all 3 pitches. The fastball is currently in the low 80's and he has the makings of two plus off-speed pitches. The spin is slurvy and the changeup has the right spin and fade to it. Big time prospect.
