5-foot-9, 140-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Threw 66 mph down to second base with the makings of a clean arm path and the ability to move his feet well during the transfer. Physical strength is needed as he matures. The pop time is 2.3. Showed solid receiving skills during the bullpen sessions as well. Ran a 8.2 sixty at the event. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 64 mph. Sets up with his even and the front foot open. Closes down the front foot as the ball approaches. The hands work quickly, although he has a low hand separation causing the bat to work a bit uphill. Needs to accelerate the bat as well, looks as if he was guiding the barrel into contact. Solid skill set to build off of. Tee Exit Velo- 64 mph Catching Velo- 66 mph Pop Time- 2.3
