Caron is a young 5-foot-8, 140 pound switch hitting infield prospect. From both sides of the plate, he hits out of an open stance, with the hands set just off the back shoulder. The bat takes a flat, direct path through the hitting zone and finishes through contact. During batting practice, Caron showed consistency on both sides of the plate, great hands and the ability to use the whole field. Defensively, he moves well in the middle of the diamond. The hands are soft and he showed good lateral movement.
