8/18/20

5-foot-9, 145-pound right-handed pitcher and right-handed hitting middle infielder. He ran a 7.46 sixty at the event. The approach in the infield is solid as he moves athletically and shows soft hands through the fielding of the baseball. He threw 76 mph across the diamond during the infield portion of the defensive workout. The bat has an exit velocity of 79 mph as the frame needs to add weight and strength. The setup is even in base and the front foot is open to start. The front foot closes down and the foot gains ground to the ball. The swing is clean and the hand works freely. He shows a 1-handed finish after contact with the baseball. On the mound, the fastball sat 77-80 mph with arm side action. The spin pitch was 66-68 mph and needs more fastball hand speed added to the pitch. The changeup is a developing pitch. The delivery has crossfire to the feet and the slot is above 3/4 in height. The lift is repeated, solid in tempo and the front shoulder can stay online longer to improve extension. He is a solid prospect.

5-foot-9, 145-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder and pitcher. Positionally, he threw 72 mph across the diamond during the infield portion of the workout. The hands and feet work appropriately as he gets through the baseball nicely. The bat has an exit velocity of 81 mph. The setup is even in base and he uses a knee to knee timing mechanism on the bottom half as the swing is produced. The path is long to contact and he uses a 1-handed finish after contact with the baseball. The frame is skinny and he can use the addition of strength and weight gain. The athleticism is excellent and his best days are in front of him. On the mound, the fastball sat 74-75 mph with arm side run to it. The spin pitch is 65-67 mph and can be tightened as he matures. The delivery is online with the feet and the slot is slightly above 3/4 in height. The lift is repeated, tempo is solid and he repeats. The arm is quick and free. I like him on the bump.

5-foot-8, 140-pound right-handed pitcher and infielder. I thought he showed very well for himself as his skill set is very good for a 2023 graduate. On the mound, the fastball touched 73 mph, with arm side run and easy effort. The spin pitch is 67-68 mph, solid in shape. The changeup is a developing pitch. The delivery is online with the feet and slightly above 3/4. The arm works clean and he repeats an athletic movement. The tracking of the front shoulder needs to be aligned to the plate as he comes offline too soon. The approach in the infield is athletic and active with the feet through the ball. He threw 73 mph during the infield portion of the workout. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 75 mph, as physical strength gains are coming as he matures in age. The setup is athletic and the hands work freely. The bottom half gains ground to the ball as the swing is produced.
