Above average and projectable during batting practice, Lucier had a max exit velocity of 91 mph. (66.0 mph bat speed average). (19.1 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced wide stance with a high load, then used a small stride. Bat speed was quick, showed an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Capable from the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 81 mph; has developing feet, a clean exchange, and developing hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Showed a high ¾ slot and a loose quick arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag.
