NJ State Games 7.24.18
Salve Regina University recruit. Hallquist has a lanky and athletic build at 6-foot-1, 165-pounds. Starts tall on the mound, with his feet spread apart and directly facing the plate. Long arm action. Throws from a high 3/4 arm slot, almost over-the-top. High, outward leg kick. Even shoulder tilt down the mound. Creates leverage over a strong brace leg. Fastball sat 81-82 MPH and topped 83 MPH. FB was thrown with downhill angled and showed some arm side run. Curveball displayed 11/5 shape and occasional late sharp bite at 72-74 MPH. Changeup had fade at the bottom of the zone at 74-75 MPH. 
 
 
Underclass Games (September 24th, 2017)
Hallquist has a long, wiry-athletic build at 6-foot-1 155-pounds. Fastball topped at 83 MPH and sat mostly 80-82 throughout his outing. Flashed a breaking ball at 70-72 with 11/5 depth as well. Big first step to the left starts his delivery into a tall, athletic balance point. Drives down the mound with lower half. Lower front side at first foot-strike. Able to extend over lead leg with stability in lower half. Short arm action from a high-3/4 slot. Will fade off to first base side on finish. Frame has room to fill out. Solid prospect to watch.
 
Futures Preview North ( June 3, 2017) Tall, Lanky right handed pitcher at 6-foot-1, 155-pounds. Halliquist has room to grow and to fill into his body. Pitches from a high ¾ arm slot. His fastball was 77-80 MPH, Topping out at 81 MPH. Fastball did show depth and slight arm side run. Curve ball had a velocity of  70-74 MPH with a tight downward spin similar to a slider. Also was able to command a change up at 74-75 MPH with slight fade at the end.
