Alex Persichetti, MIF, Gloucester Catholic, All Out Baseball, 2017
7/28/15 -- Persichetti was much improved offensively at the All Out Scout Day showing a better swing with more present bat speed. His legs are a little bit heavy at shortstop which does limit how quickly he could cover ground but he makes up for it with solid arm strength.
6/13/15 -- Persichetti has a very strong frame with good present size and room for more. He stands about 5-10 but could get bigger. He showed excellent actions at shortstop, aggressively attacking groundballs and playing through them. He has above average hands and arm strength that will only get better as he matures. In the box, he hits from the right side with a compact, athletic stance. He starts with low hands and bring them back into a good hitting position. He showed an all-fields approach and was not afraid to let the ball travel deep, which was evident in his ability to hit line drives the other way. He is a very solid prospect and like most of the All Out squad, should garner a lot of interest from division one coaches.
