Rubayo stands at 6-foot-6, 210-pounds. Durable frame with room to fill out. Pitched exclusively from the stretch. Works from all the way on the first base side of the rubber, feet closed. Hands start low and work in sync with his leg lift. Quick up tempo delivery, maintains his rhythm. Shorter stride, gets over his frontside. Repeatable mechanics with a clean delivery. Long, loose arm action. Arm slot is high, nearly OTT. FB has downhill angle on it, late life at 87-88 MPH, touching 89 MPH. SL acts like a cutter with good velo (79-81 MPH) and deception when paired with the FB. CH with intent at 78-81 MPH.
6-foot-6, 205-pound projectable frame. On the mound, he showed quick arm speed to the plate, he had a short arm action with a ¾ arm angle. He is a tall-and-fall type pitcher- uses some effort in his delivery. He produced a fastball that came in at 78-79 mph; and topped out at 81 mph; threw a running fastball. He showed the ability to locate his curveball for a strike at 70-71 mph; had slight 11/5 action.
