At the plate, he starts in a wide and open stance. Knees are bent. Hands begin in line with his back shoulder. Elbow always remains parallel to the ground. Hands locked in position during his load, with a slight bat wrap. Swings with controlled aggression. Gets off his backside well, clears his hips. Showed feel for the barrel, consistently drove the ball during his round of BP. Defensively, Sanzio took reps in the infield, and recorded a top velo of 81 MPH. Gets around the baseball and approaches it under control. Brought the baseball to his midsection and transferred it close to his body.
