8.19.18

6-foot-2, 215-pound left-handed hitting first baseman and pitcher. Positionally, ran a 4.84 dig to first base at the event. Threw 76 mph across the diamond from first base to third, the arm works well. The feet and glove are solid at first base, he has no problem playing the position. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 83 mph. Sets up even in base, pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The swing is up and over at times, causing top spin, flattening the path will clean that up.  On the mound, the fastball touched 82 mph, plenty arm side run and action to the fastball. The spin pitch is big in shape, sitting at 62 -63 mph. The changeup is a work in progress, sitting at 62 mph. The delivery is online with the feet, ¾ in slot. The tracking of the front shoulder is done well. The glove comes across the hitters face, and the deception is good to the hitter. The lift is easy and direct to the plate.
