Delivery: Starts from a modified stretch on the first base side. Consistent rhythm and tempo in the delivery. Even shoulders, efficient lower half.
Arm Action: RH. Long and loose, high 3/4 slot.
FB: T84, 83-84 mph. Consistently for strikes, some downhill plane. T2122, 2001 average rpm.
CB: 69-71 mph. Later horizontal tilt. T2252, 2198 average rpm.
CH: 75-78 mph. Straight CH. T1853, 1764 average rpm.
Starr is lean/athletic at 5-foot-9, 155-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.88 seconds with a top exit velo of 83 MPH. Offensively, has a wider stance with bend to the knees. Smooth weight transfer with a minimal load. Inverts the front foot. Stays inside the ball with a line-drive approach. In the infield, showed smooth action with rhythm. Transfer by his midsection. Top positional velo of 78 MPH. On the mound, starts offset on the first base side of the rubber. Aggressive into his lower half, creates uphill shoulder tilt. Stride direction stays in line.
