Physical- Strong, physical 6-foot-2, 225lbs frame.7.69 runner in the 60.
Offensively- Starts tall in a balanced stance with an even base, uses a deliberate leg lift for timing. Some bat waggle pre-pitch getting into the load before dropping the barrel into the hitting zone. Showed some adjustability in the swing, allowing him to go down and get the pitch at the knees. Quick hands and a tight turn helps him generate plus bat speed, leading to a max exit velo of 96 MPH during his BP round.
Defensively- Starts upright and get low on approach to the ball. Shuffles well off the bag but would cross his feet over on occasion. Bends at the waist to get low to field the ball in the middle of his body before taking a shuffle for momentum towards his target. Long arm swing with a high ¾ arm slot, 76 MPH arm strength.
6-foot-2, 225-pound solid frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed his power in the box with a strong exit velocity of 91 mph. Began in a strong, tall stance with a smooth load, then used a leg kick right before his swing. Displayed a straight-to-the-ball swing plane, as well as quick bat speed and low finish. Found multiple barrels during his round. In the infield, displayed a velocity of 73 mph across the field; had a fluid exchange and consistent hands. Used a high ¾ slot and a long arm action. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 8.12.
