Watkins stood out as one of the top underclass performers in the state during the Preseason circuit and right away he passed the eye test with his physicality. The metrics jumped off the board at this event and he’s proven his skillset throughout the spring season thus far hitting .381 with 14RBIs as we approach the halfway point of the spring.

Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 6-3, 184-pounds. Long and projectable frame.
Delivery: Gradual start to the delivery, works w/ consistent tempo. Even shoulder tilt, late separation w/ a delayed hand-break. Strong frontside.
Arm Action: RH. Long and clean AA, w/ some whippiness. High 3/4 slot.
FB: T82, 79-81 mph. Consistently at the bottom of the zone, some downhill angle. T2093, 2068 average rpm.
CB: 70-73 mph. Shorter shape, late lateral action. T1805, 1795 average rpm.
CH: 70-74 mph. Showed some late fade at times. T1756, 1704 average rpm.
ATH: 7.02 runner in the 60. 1.70 and 3.90 in the 10 and 30 yard splits.

Power: 92 max exit velocity, averaged 85.0 mph. 326' max distance.
Arm: RH. OF-86 mph. Long and loose AA, w/ intent.
Defense: Aggressive to the ball, does not break his momentum.
