Gonzalez has a lanky and athletic frame at 5-foot-10, 162-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.43 seconds. Recorded an exit velo of 85 MPH. He starts in an even stance with his knees bent to stay athletic. Has a clear weight shift backwards along with a high leg kick. Starts his hands near shoulder height but brings them down during his load. Showed off some quick hands and the ability to stay inside the ball. Stayed towards the middle of the field for most of his round. Took defensive reps in the infield and recorded a velo of 78 MPH. Smooth actions in the field, working to get around the ball. Shows versatility with his arm slots and can throw on the move.
