Physical- Compact, athletic and at 5-foot-9, 160lbs with some developing strength in the build. 7.22 runner in the 60,
Offensively- Starts in a balanced, crouched position with bend in the knees. Bat starts resting on his shoulder before he gets into his load with a small leg lift. Max exit velo of 92 MPH.
Defensively- Starts upright and attacks downhill on the ball with confident footwork. Fields the ball with two hands outside his glove foot and uses his downhill momentum to his advantage, gaining ground on his target. Physical: Compact and athletic 5-foot-9, 155-pound frame with sneaky strength throughout the actions and advanced feel for his body. 6.92 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Wide, balanced stance with a slight crouch in the setup as the hands start idle above the shoulder. Utilized a short, lift and replace stride to initiate a repeatable, slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Showcased the ability to hold the posture throughout the swing with solid feel for the hands getting on-plane early. The barrel worked naturally through extension while staying connected to the lower half during a high intent launch. Recorded a top bat-exit velocity of 96 mph according to Trackman Baseball during one of the top batting practice rounds of the day with hard pull-side contact and legitimate juice.
Defensively: The primary outfielder showed downhill momentum while arriving to the ball on time. Was able to range with quick straight line footwork to either side of the body and got around the baseball when hit in the gaps. Utilized an accurate, high ¾ arm-slot with a full arm circle on throws to the plate. OF - 77 mph
