Old Dominion recruit. Levari has an extremely lean and athletic frame at 6-foot-1, 165-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.48 seconds and recorded an exit velo of 87 MPH. The left hand hitter starts in a wide and athletic stance with his feet slightly open. Hands stay locked in position during his load. Small leg kick. Gets his hands extended and showed off easy gap-to-gap power. Took defensive reps in the infield and recorded a top positional velo of 92 MPH. Twitchy actions in the field. Gets around the ball and stays athletic. Arm plays, can throw from different arm slots. On the mound, works quick and does a great job getting into his plant leg. Hands stay high through his delivery. Uphill shoulder tilt. Fastball showed tons of life at 89-90 MPH, touching 91 MPH. CB displayed 11/5 shape at times with late downer action at 75-77 MPH. High-elbow load leads to some loop in his swing, but he clears his hips well and creates some backspin with solid feel for the barrel. Registered an 84 mph bat exit velocity while swinging wood. As pitch comes in, his hands load up and back as the bat becomes parallel to the ground and wraps around his head. He uses a weight exchange and foot stride to start his swing. Fastball topped at 88 MPH and sat mostly 86-88 with late life and downhill plane. Mixed in a slurvy breaking ball at 72-74 for strikes and a changeup with late fade at 75-76 MPH. Tall, athletic balance point, drives down the mound with authority by using lower half. Uphill shoulders as he descends down the mound creates a whip in arm on finish. Stiff, strong landing leg. Whippy-quick arm on release. Controls body on follow through. Lands front foot closed but foot spins to a square position on release. One of the top prospects in the 2020 class in NJ. Hitting – LHH starts in a slightly opened stance with hands above back shoulder. Uses a small foot stride to start swing. Hands load up and back slightly. Hands load up and bat flattens out on shoulder, wrapping around head slightly. Loose looking hands and hips on finish, just needs to add muscle to frame. Exit Velocity topped at 70 mphDefensively- Smooth actions and soft hands with a quick, seamless exchange into a throwing motion. Athleticism apparent. Able to throw from multiple arm slots across the infield with accruacy. Throws topped at 76 mph. Pitching- Fastball topped at 79, sat 76-78. Showcased a curveball at 62 mph and a changeup at 65-67. High-3/4 slot with some arm quickness upon release. Methodical delivery, raises glove above head before he raises leg into a balance point. Sinks into back leg to create hip lead and leverage going down the mound. Tall, stiff front leg on finish.
