NJ State Games 7/24/18
Salve Regina University recruit. D’Amato possesses a lean and athletic frame at 5-foot-8, 160-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.00 seconds. Recorded an exit velo of 85 MPH. The left handed hitter starts tall in a balanced stance. Hands begin above shoulder height, near his body. Elbow stays parallel to the ground. Creates pre-pitch rhythm. Hands move down and back during his load. Small toe-tap with his stride. Quiet, short to the ball. Fluid load, maintains rhythm. Completely clears his hips. Defensively, took reps both in the outfield and infield. Recorded a top velo of 84 MPH from the infield and 83 MPH from the outfield. From the outfield, approaches the ball aggressively, yet under control. Creates momentum towards his target. From the infield, shows clean footwork around the ball. Brings the ball to his midsection and transfers it there. Made strong throws from multiple arm slots.

Futures Preview (6/4/16)
D'Amato stands 5-foot-7 150-pounds, with a small but athletic looking body that can add speed (7.45 60) as he continues to grow. Hitting- stands in a wide, balanced stance with a short leg lift for a load and small hand movement. Shows above average barrel awareness for his age and has a quick, short stroke through the zone. Fielding- OF: Throws from a high 3/4 arm slot at 76 MPH with a short, stiff arm stroke. INF: Shows excellent hand quickness for his age, and exchange is clean and quick especially on balls up the middle. In the infield he drops his arm slot to 3/4 to low-3/4 to get the ball out quicker. Needs to work on foot agility, choppy on slow rollers.
