The tall left-handed hitter sets up in an upright stance with his feet slightly open. Bigger leg kick, but stays on time. Hands are back and stayed cocked in position. Explosive lower half, hips clear through the zone. Generated some serious pullside power in his round. Took defensive reps at first base with a top velo of 72 MPH.
Kelly has a long and strong frame at 6-foot-4, 200-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.56 seconds and recorded a top exit velocity of 97 MPH. Starts upright in his stance with his feet slightly open. Hands are up high, and back elbow stays parallel to the ground. Creates some hip/shoulder separation. Smooth stroke, barrel stays in the zone a long time. Showed off some serious pullside power, with consistent strong contact to all fields. In the infield, showed off soe quick turns and gathered himself with a shuffle before making throws.
