Strong and athletic build at 6-foot, 180-pounds. He ran the 60 yard dash in 7.15 seconds with an exit velo of 96 MPH, one of the top numbers at the event. Athletic stance with a wide base, knees bent. Bat is resting on his shoulder and moves up and back during his load. Minimal stride. Simple, effortless swing generating easy gap-to-gap power. Present barrel awareness. Top velo of 78 MPH from the outfield. Aggressive yet under control approach to the ball. Fields outside his front foot and is able to create some carry on his throws.
Physical- Lean, athletic, 6-foot, 170lbs frame. 7.47 runner in the 60.
Offensively- Sets up in a relaxed stance with some bend in the knees and feet slightly wider than shoulder width apart. Bat rests on his back shoulder before loading his hands back along with a lift and replace stride for timing. Short hands to the ball, getting on plane early. Barrel is flat through the hitting zone with a slight uphill finish, leading to a majority of fly balls. Max exit velo of 92 MPH.
Defensively- Starts and stays upright on approach, attacking the ball out in front. Uses consistent footwork to get around the ball and field outside his body before using a crowhop to release. Moderate arm swing with a ¾ arm slot, 78 MPH arm strength from the OF.
