Garden State Underclass Games (June 14, 2017)
Maryland recruit, currently ranked No. 4 in the NJ Rankings, and No. 66 in the National Rankings. Decker has an athletic 6-foot, 185-pound frame, with room to fill out more. One of the best left-handed hitters in the class of 2018. Has an open athletic stance with a smooth load back with explosive bat speed. Has a large leg kick that generated exceptional pull side power. Hands were quick to the ball. Follow through showed balance and lift to the swing. One of the premier athletes in the class.
9/11/16 Super 17 Fall Wood Bat Invitational
Decker is a physical 6-foot 185-pounds LHH. No. 4 ranked prospect in NJ 2018 class, 36th nationally. Starts with a wide, open stance with hands high above his back shoulder. Uses a small leg kick to start load, viciously rotates hips through the zone to generate power. Bat path is flat and stays in the zone late. Quick hands and a smooth swing.
6/15/15
Decker is one of the most highly projectable prospects I've seen this summer. He already possesses a physical frame with a ton of strength. He is a very good runner for his size and has a lot of tools to like. He is a left-handed hitter with great presence. He has a great swing plane and creates excellent leverage with feel for using his explosive lower half. He has enormous power potential and should be an excited prospect to follow.
