C Peter Serruto (Millburn HS, NJ), a Rutgers recruit, has risen significantly this spring with an electric arm and explosive movements at the plate. He's a game-changer behind the plate with pop times clocked at 1.85 seconds in game. RHPs Will Gambino (Paul VI HS, NJ) and Marcus Eusebio (Passaic County Tech, NJ) have had strong springs as well and have been up to the low 90s with their fastballs. After being hindered with an injury in 2017, 3B Justyn-Henry Malloy (St. Joseph's Montvale HS, NJ), a Vanderbilt recruit, has burst out of the gate as one of New Jersey's top power threats. A Northeast ProCase participant and New Jersey Player of the Year candidate, SS/RHP Josh Hood (St. Augustine Prep HS, NJ) is having a monster season. The Pennsylvania recruit is hitting .450 with 12 home runs and 39 RBIs. He has a flat path at the plate and fast, but can also get on the mound with his arm strength. OF Max Dineen (Pennsville HS, NJ) the state in home runs to date with 15. Broad shouldered and athletic, Dineen possesses a short, quick swing with lift in his finish. OF Arbert Cipion (Passaic County Tech, NJ), a Southern New Hampshire recruit, possesses elite speed and strength for his age.
