Lanky and lean build at 5-foot-9, 135-pounds. On the mound, Lombardi displayed extremely smooth and fluid mechanics. Hands start at chest level and move well to hide the ball. A high leg kick leads into good rotational movement of the upper body and neutral shoulders at foot strike. Lands slightly closed but creates torque. In the stretch, Lombardi begins closed and uses a knee-to-knee to work quickly yet efficiently. Fastball topped at 77 MPH while sitting at 76-77 MPH. Slider showed good 11/5 shape and late vertical tilt at 66-68 MPH. SL was consistently located gloveside and down. Changeup showed fade in the zone at 71-72 MPH.
